the origin of Osaka
What's the origin of ‘Osaka’? 大阪 means big slope by Kanji. I searched it and it was almost correct answer. Strictly speaking, the origin of osaka be seemed a gentle slope.
A chilly night....Love osaka:) What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnRqYMTpXHc
I'm thinking about fixed amount benefit. My list of things wanting , a camere and a refrigerator, an airline ticket of Spanish line and more... This happy thinking bother me sometimes. But they are higher cost than fixed amount benefit.

First experience on Monday
〝Sleepy town〟I want to call so today. Public spaces were not usual. In commuter trains, a shopping district, schools were quiet and almost people put on mask. I was afraid of eyes of people than the influenza:( It's serious. If I cough and sneeze without my wearing a mask, people flowned at my behavior.
I'm listening Enka(氷雨http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYHVKZhmxtI&feature=PlayList&p=E81981503E247B05&index=0), 氷雨 is sung by Jero who came from USA. I usually don't listen to the song of this type. But I like the enka of Jero.

New type of flu
Finally influ patients appered in Kobe and Osaka this weekend. These students had not been oversea. I think why 1st domestic new flu cases in Kobe and Osaka ?? And I think media stirred up a fear of the influ. Anyway, some people tend to put on musk from yesterday. And municipal government decided to close schools, including kindergartens, primaryschools, middle schools and high schools for seven days until Friday. And more the Kobe festival also canceled, I'm so sorry to know that. Maybe many people are regreting it.
As for people who died for normal influenza, there seem to be 250,000 - 500,000 people in a year in the world.

Flowers at Tsurumi ryokuchi(鶴見緑地)
This afternoon, I went to the Tsurumi ryokuti park at first time. When I was reading 〝Survey Osaka Guide book〟somehow, I found this park. I decided to go to there because it is 20 minutes by a train from my house.
The tsurumi ryokuchi park(鶴見緑地公園). In the park, there were an observatory and the exhibit space of the flowers(咲くやこの花館http://www.sakuyakonohana.com/). I paid 500 yen(admission) and entered the exhibit space. I learned two knowledges at here.
One is pineapple, I believed that the pineapple grew on the tree so far.

東京タワー(Tokyo tower)
If you never watched Tokyo towerhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdRSKa1QgIE(movie), you should try it. This movie reminds me of the important person. Who is it for you?
Mother's Day comes soon.
The theme song 『東京にもあったんだ』 Singer: Mr. Masaharu Hukuyama(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_z-aIPqRag)
I can't express this title in English well. Maybe it means 〝There were them which he thought not to be it in Tokyo. 〟
東京にもあったんだ
こんなきれいな夕陽が
うれしいな 君に見せたいな
君は元気かな
〝I did not know that there was beautiful setting sun in Tokyo. I am glad of it. I want to show you it. Are you fine? 〟
東京にもあったんだ
こんなきれいな月が
うれしいな 君も見てるかな
君に逢いたいな
〝I didn't know that there was beautiful moon in Tokyo. I am glad of it. I want to see you.〟

The last day of Golden week
Sunday, 3 May 2009
Kochi prefecture(高知県)
We left Osaka at a.m.6:00 yesterday and went to Kochi (http://www.attaka.or.jp/foreign/english/index.html)by a car. We expected that the way was congested because now Golden week(holidays) in Japan. We have off day of about a week.
We arrived earlier than our expectation from Osaka to Kochi in five hours. To meet a friend, we went to Nangoku(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nankoku,_K%C5%8Dchi) city in Kochi. He lived in Perth for about 20 years, but returns to his parents' house for two years ago. However, his family lives in Perth. I think maybe he miss Perth and his family. We like him because he is kind and attractive person:-) At first he guided us to the Ryugadou(the cave)
The Ryugadou(http://www.ryugadou.or.jp/02ryugado/ryugado.htm). It is one of the Japan's three biggest stalactite caves. We walked about 1 kilometer in the cave. It was cold and dark, very tight. I cannot recommend you to here if you were claustrophobia.
And then we visited to his house. Nice to meet you, Lucky(his name)!
We wanted to go to Katsura-hama Beach. It is a place of relation of Ryoma Sakamoto(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sakamoto_Ry%C5%8Dma). It is the one of the tourist attractions representing Kochi-shi. The bronze statue of Ryoma Sakamoto sees the Pacific. We gave up to go there. Because it was very congested. So we changed the direction, we drove to the hotel along the seashore. The person of the paraglider waved his hand to us:)
The Villa Santorini(http://www.villa-santorini.com/index.html) in Tosa city.
We could look the Pacific ocean!!! And more we heard beautiful bird song♪

In the evening we visited to syouryu-ji(青龍寺). Do you know 四国遍路(shikoku henro)? The act around 88 places of Shikoku is called a henro遍路(pilgrim). The people call a pilgrim ohenro. It is said that your wish comes true if you visited 88 temples in Shikoku. We met a lot of pilgrims. They wear white clothes and a special hat.
