3丁目の夕日(The setting sun of the third streets)

“The setting sun of the third streets” is one of my favorite movies. Now I am watching it on TV.
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=ngjPeW9gEGs&feature=related It is very heart warming story! As for the time, it is Showa reriod in Tokyo, the life of people were poorer than now. However, the people assisted each other and lived there. Though the scenery is totally different from now, I feel nostalgia in it. This movie is a running story. By the most new work, the poor writer aims at the prize to protect important people for him and wrestles with a his work. I am always impressed by the ending. I sometimes get tired of living in oneself as the Japanese and Japan. If I am the nation of other countries? Probably it will be the psychology that we want another which we have nothing (naimono nedari“ないものねだり:japanese”). In the same way as other countries, Japan have good and bad. I think in particular that old Japan lets us rediscover a Japanese good point.
