This is a typical new year's card in Japan.
Packs of otoshidama :-)We have some custom. Nengajyo(New year's card) and Otoshidama( New year's gift of money) is important for Japanese. We send New Year's cards so they'll arrive on January 1st. Maybe our New year's card are as like X'mas card in other countries. As for otoshidama, chidlen are given money by adult(their aunt and uncle).
