Tenjin festival in Osaka

大阪天満宮（http://www.tenjinsan.com/tjm.html）A lot of night stalls were exhibited on the approach to the Tenjinsan. Apple candy(りんご飴), takoyaki, chipped ice(かき氷) etc...

Many many people were looking fireworks at Tenjin bridge. Almost women and girls wore Yukata and some men and boys wore yukata. I like wearing yukata so I wear it every summer festival. But it is slightly troublesome to wear a yukata:( And arranging hair too.

Geta 下駄を履いて夏祭り！

I like a geta and a yukata. While wearing them, I feel better:) I will wear them tomorrow. There will be Tenjin hanabi at Osaka. But a forecast say not good imformation for hanabi.
Tsuyu is not over now.

The total eclipse of the sun

Can you see the total eplipse of the sun. In Japan, it was that the people could enjoy the solar eclipse around Amami-Oshima. I often looked up at the sky in the morning. However, it was unfortunate cloudiness:( Next time it will be about after 30 years. My age will be ・・・・.
Can I experience a solar eclipse if I go to country of any place??

Start summer festival

It is almost summer more and more. At some places, summer festivals have began. My friend and me went to Ennokyo's festival( http://www.ennokyo.jp/)at Hyogo prefecture. It was very hot and humid night.

We have 3 off days! Enjoy summer days! He is a camel at camel cafe(駱駝屋) at Awaza. Many camel's ornaments are there.

Pretty cute flower shop near by Utsubo park, and staffs also are beautiful sister:)

Fresh plums. Taste is a little sour still now.

I want to drink water melon juice, but I seldom see it at restaurants and cafe in Japan. zannen:(

Tonight I met a friend who were a co-worker of a part time job when I was a college student.

One of my hobby is a bath time. Bath time is a hobby?? Yes, I love bath time:) Aroma oil and salt are necessities for my bath time recently. So I'm searching for them today. And I found a nice shop( EL PASO MART). I could buy DANI's product at there. I can hardly wait to bath time;)

I will write 暑中お見舞い( summer greeting cards) tonight. It 's also my hobby.
I want to continue that I will write letters . To write letters while thinking of somebody, Don't you think it is wonderful time?

Shodo(japanese calligraphy)

When I was a primary school student, I learned shodo. I loved it. But I quited doing it because I didn't have much time doing shodo. For about 20 years I hadn't been doing shodo. So long time for me. This week I started learning shodo again. It was very happy time.

友(tomo) means a friend.

鱧 is now seasonal fish! It's tasty and healthy. We usually eat it with a sause of Ume( japanse apricot ).

七夕～Tanabata～

Tanabata (七夕meaning "Evening of the seventh") is a star festival. It celebrates the meeting of Orihime and Hikoboshi. The river of star separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year. Since the stars come out at night, the celebration is held at night.

People generally celebrate this day by writing wishes on tanzaku (短冊), small pieces of paper, and hanging them on bamboo.

雨宿り(amayadori)

I found a nice word when I was waiting for stop hard rain. Do you know ‘雨宿り amayadori’?
I searched what I called it in English. Amayadori means shelter?? It's not right, I think.
It gives us various images.
