Autumn in Kyoto

紅葉もそろそろ終わりが近づいてきました。もうすぐ１２月とういうのに、日中は１２月らしくない気候。
週末は、京都へ。清水寺や南禅寺、哲学の道。

The autumn season has approached in finish slowly. It is not so cold soon though coming December. We went to Kyoto this weekend. Kiyomizutera and Nanzenji, Tetsugaku no michi(Philosopher's Walk).

清水寺へ向かう二年坂。通りには、おみやげ店、さまざまな京都の銘菓が並んでいます。石畳と少し急な坂が、夜の寒さを忘れさせてくれました。

Ninen-zaka toward Kiyomizudera. There are Souvenirs and specialities of Kyoto. The stone pavement and the slope forgot our cold.

「清水の舞台から飛び降りるつもりで・・・」とはよく聞く言葉。

ここから飛び降りる、イコール命をかけるということになると思うので、それだけの思いで何かをすれば、願いは叶うだろうなぁ。

We sometimes say “Kiyomizu no butai kara tobioriru”. It is a proverb. It means “Your dream will come true if you carry something out with enthusiasm as you take a plunge.”

パースからの花のお便り。Mr.Nさんお心遣いありがとうございます。

パースは日本と逆の気候で今は初夏のようです。大阪も気候はいまいちですが、パースも不安定とか。花便りは『ジャカランダ』、奇麗な藤紫いろ。　ノウゼンカズラ科に属するようで、熱帯・亜熱帯・温帯で生息するようです。んー写真からパースの空気が伝わってくるようです。

Now Perth seems to be starting summer. The flower is Jacaranda. The color is beautiful huji murasaki(this language is japanese).

イルミネーション。Illuminations in Tokyo

この季節になると、紅葉もいいけれど、夜の街もいつもと違う表情で素敵です。今夜は、六本木を訪れました。東京ミッドタウン, 六本木ヒルズ。お買い物に食事、都会の真ん中でのんびり過ごせる場所でした。ただ・・・人は多い。

The illumination is also good at this season though the autumn color is good. Night time has different atmosphere in Tokyo( of course also Osaka!)
Tonight we visited at Tokyo midtown and Rottpongi hills. You can enjoy shopping and eating, and can spend relax time at here.

大江戸線の六本木駅を降りてすぐ、東京ミッドタウン。とにかく腹ごしらえを・・・とガーデンテラスへ。
ところが、横目にとってもきれいなイルミネーションを発見してしまいました。

Tokyo midtown.　Because we were so hungry, we went to garden terrass. But we found the illumination over there of the garden terrace.

本当にきれいな光景でした。時間を忘れる一時。

So beautiful! This scene presented us the special time to forget time.

そして、再びガーデンテラスにレストランを探しに！Bodega Santa Rita.　スペインのワイン蔵をイメージした空間で、イベリコ豚の炭火焼をいただきました。コース(4200yen)で注文しましたが、お値段の割に品数が美味しくて多く大満足でした。

There are a lot of wonderful restaurants in the Tokyo midtown. Bodega Santa Rita. We chose Spanish food for supper. The restaurant's interior that imaged a wine storehouse was family feeling.

腹ごしらえをすませ、元気になったところで、徒歩で六本木ヒルズへ。歩いていると出会う人達の、なんと外国人が多いこと。観光の人もいれば、たぶんこちらに住みついている人もいるんだろうな。

After having nice dinner, we walked to Roppongi hills.

しばらく歩いている間に、東京タワーはお色直しをしたようです。大人ヴァージョンの東京タワー。

東京のそば屋にて。 the soba in Tokyo

今日の大阪は曇り空。夕方から東京に来ていますが、こちらは雨、しかも寒い。
知人と麻布十番で待ち合わせをして、素敵なお店に連れて行ってもらいました。はじめ、“そば屋”にいくと聞いたときは、微妙な気持ちでしが・・・。雨の中、駅から数分先にあるそば屋さんはおしゃれなそば屋さんでした。勿論、そば以外のメニューも豊富で本当においしかったです。そばつゆは、くるみつゆ。初体験でした。青山　川上庵。こういうお店は多分、東京だからはやるんだろうな・・・と。

Today's osaka was cloudy. Now I'm in Tokyo,here is rainy and cold. This night my friend and me met at Azabu jyuban, and they guided me “ the soba restaurant”. When I listened we would have soba at the friday night in Tokyo, to tell the truth I wanted to go another restaurant.
But the soba restaurant was very nice!　Of course, the restaurant has other menu on top of soba. I ate soba with walnut soup first time. 川上庵（kawakami an) was so moody soba restaurant;)

DO YOUR BEST

今日は“最善を尽くす”を書道教室で書きました。改めていい言葉だなと。
私にとって、背筋が伸びる言葉です。

I wrote “Do your best (最善を尽くす)” at shodo(japanese calligraphy) class today. Wonderful words, don't you think so?
The sentense make straighten my back.

大阪のかお（？） The face of Osaka

今日は友達と梅田で待ち合わせをして、新しく改装された阪急百貨店へ。最近、この周辺はいつも工事中。三越伊勢丹ができるらしい。そのためとても歩きづらい。特に何を買うでもなく、百貨店を後にして、なんばへ。なんばから心斎橋まで御堂筋をぶらぶらと。銀杏並木は少し色づき始めていました。

なんばから心斎橋、南船場へと、同じ大阪でもいろんな表情があるなぁと。歩いている人はよくもわるくも個性的。

My friend and me met at Umeda this afternoon. And we went to Hankyu Department store. Recently around Umeda has been under construction because new department store(Mitsukoshi Isetan) will open. So pavements are crowded with walkers:(
After window shop, we went to Nanba by a subway(midosuji line). From Nanba to Shinsaibashi, we strolled. The ginkgo roadside trees began to autumn color little by little.

Nanba and Shinsaibashi, Minami senba have various faces of Osaka each other.
Some people who walk in the Shinsaibashi street are unique.

the Culture Day ～文化の日～

この文化の日を私はどこで過ごしたでしょうか？今日は昨日よりもさらに寒い一日でした。
Guess, where did I spend the culture day.　It was colder today.


私はここでたくさんの絵を鑑賞しました。絵のことはよく分かりませんが、感覚的にグスタフクリムト(http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AA%E3%83%A0%E3%83%88)の絵は惹きつけるものがありました。一方で、シ―レの絵は、痛々しい感じがしてあまり好きではないなぁと。

I enjoyed looking at many arts at here. Especially KLIMT's work(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Klimt) attracted me. I thought SCHIELE's work was sensitive so I don't like his work. Anyway I am not well versed in the picture. I felt so by intuition.

Della rocca ～本町のイタリア料理～

今日は、とてもさぶい！！　今年に入って初めての寒さではないでしょうか？？　手袋とマフラーが急に必要になりました。

今夜は四ツ橋線の本町駅近くにあるイタリアンのお店へ。Della Rocca(http://www.della-rocca.jp/index.html).

The first cold wintry wind was observed.

We went to a Italian restaurant ‘Della Rocca’ for dinner. This is first time for me to visit to there.

仔牛のカツレツ。んー、量が多すぎました・・・・。
I ordered a veal cutlet. But it was too much for me・・・・・.

明日は文化の日。さあ、何をしようかな？？　うれしいな、祝日の前の夜は！

Tomorrow is the culture day, a day off! Full of good spirit before the holiday!

高源寺～Kougen-ji temple ～

今朝は紅葉の名所、高源寺（http://kougenji-tanba.or.jp/）へ。兵庫県丹波市の山奥にあります。
今日のこの周辺の気温は22度でした。紅葉はいま一つでしたが、森林浴を楽しめました。

My granpa and me went to the Kogen-ji. It is located at Tamba city of Hyogo prefecture.
Today's temperature was 22 ℃. It is still early in the season of the autumn tint. But we enjoyed
a forest relaxation and walking.

ここにたどり着くまでに、階段をてくてくと。おじいちゃんも一緒だったので、結構時間がかかりました。

Long steps continue until reaching here.

高源寺そば。敷地内にあるお蕎麦屋さん。多分、このシーズンだけ開店されているのではないでしょうか。地元のおばさんたちが、のんびり運営されているような温かいお蕎麦屋さん。　Kougenji soba.
